Changes to fare upgrades!
Effective January 1, 2017
RTD’s revised ticket policy will go into effect on January 1, 2017. Passengers must pay for an upgrade if they want to use a transfer, ticket, or pass for a one-way trip at a higher fare level.
Passengers with a Local ticket, Local transfer, Local Day Pass or Local Monthly Pass will be able to upgrade to a one-way trip to or from the airport.
Passengers with a Regional ticket or Regional transfer will be able to upgrade to a one-way trip to or from the airport.
Upgrades to a Regional/Airport Day Pass are no longer available.
Please note: Expired tickets are not accepted for RTD bus and rail service. Refunds or exchanges are not available.

Orders are processed twice monthly, ORDER EARLY, the first cycle is processed ABOUT the 6th and mailed ABOUT the 13th. The second cycle is processed ABOUT the 21st and mailed the next day. Use Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, or PayPal to purchase through our secure shopping cart.
The online orders are mailed to your home or, if you prefer to receive your order at work, enter your name, the business/agency name, complete work address (include your mail code or suite number), city, state, and zip code.
Fare media is NOT downloadable and are NON-REFUNDABLE. RTD does not ship internationally.
The first order deadline for an August monthly pass is 8am July 6 mailing by July 12. The final order deadline is 8am July 20, mailing July 21.
Discount fares are available for all seniors ages 65+, individuals with disabilities, Medicare (not Medicaid) recipients, and elementary, middle, and high school students ages 6-19. Discount fare riders must show proof of eligibility at each boarding. Children ages 5 and younger ride free with a fare-paying adult.
Active duty members of the US military ride for free on all RTD services. Proof of eligibility is required at each boarding.
