Frequently Asked Questions:

  • I cannot see the buttons on the left. All I see is red X's, now what? This indicates that you do not have the Java Runtime Plugin. You can install it for free here.

  • What forms of payment are accepted online? Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and PayPal.

  • I am getting an error message that says "This page contains both secure and non-secure information, do you want to display secure and non-secure items?" The pass images are not secured, since they do not contain any private information. If you select no, you will not see the images. By selecting yes, the security of your personal and credit card information are not effected, which will allow you to see the images.

  • Is it safe to buy my pass online? Yes. RTD is using a secure shopping cart application by Verisign® that keeps your information confidential and secure. The billing address that you enter at checkout must match the billing address your credit card issuer has on file. Be aware that some banks do not allow you to buy online with debit cards.

  • Why doesn't my browser show a padlock or https secure site indicator? The online store is imbedded into the RTD site, your browser will not display this information, but the site is secure. If you want to go to the store directly, please click here. When you get to the checkout page, you'll see the secure site.

  • When will my credit/debit card be charged? When your order is placed, an authorization for the charge amount is put on your card. The charge will post once your order has been mailed usually around the 13th or 25th every month. For debit cards, the funds are withdrawn immediately.

  • Can I use a debit card? Yes, as long as it has a Visa or Mastercard logo.

  • Can I use this site to buy Trip To Work passes? No, please visit TripToWork.com.

  • Why was my order declined? Because your bank or credit card did not authorize the transaction.
